Parenting can be tedious, not news. Standing at the playground when it feel like you are on the surface of the sun can be dull. I know this sounds selfish. I keep telling myself to be mindful of the fact this is essential for the development of my precious snowflake, but it can be lonely. Especially when u live in the city and the other adults are either crack heads or nannies!

ReplyDeleteOne look at these pictures , over the last three years,make standing in the sun all worth it. Thirty some years later, all these little memories all wash into a beautiful watercolor painting with no definition. She will always know how much you put into her life to make it the tapestry that is full, rich and quite successful.
Parenting is hard work; but like anything worthwhile, quite rewarding. mimi
