Well, we are on our way home from the ramp festival in Mt Morris, PA at the mason dixon park. The ramp is a wild edible allium with blood cleansing properties. How can I sum it all up? Here are a few highlights:
Steam powered shotgun greeting us upon our entrance, classy
Chocolate covered ramps, what do you think?
Ramp burger, good
Live bluegrass music, pretty good
Deep fried ramps, better than last year but greasy
Home made Ramp wine, organ rupturing
Ramp kielbasa, pretty durn good
Ramp cheese, pungent
Alpacas, cute
Camo bush beer can train, awesome
Stomach lining, destroyed
How the car smells on the way home, bad
Moral of the story: brings some friends, perhaps a few brews, a sense of humor and some antacids.
hahahahahahaha....that pretty much sums up the ENTIRE day.
