Last home expansion

We just finished the last expansion we'll have to do at home for this round. Yay! She takes such an active interest in the needles and other equipment, handling it better than I would. She says it doesn't hurt when I do it. I really think the frighting thing at the doctors is when there are 4 doctors holding her still. That is just human instinct to get away from that type of situation.

One other bit of good news just surfaced. Staying in the hospital is -4 star accomodations, making for a grueling 48 hours with no sleep. Eric just called the hospital and they said she is old enough to sleep in a bed and that one of us can sleep in the bed with her. This is good because she requires constant contact post op, which was awful when she was in a hospital crib. A nice contrast to pittsburgh where one of the nurses told us how weird it wa when parents tried to lie down with their kids.

Now we just have to enjoy this week and focus on post op when she is in our arms again.
