Redneck or red neck
One last note on the ramp day. Eric asked Sophie if she wanted to take a bath to wash the redneck off. She said, 'i don't have a read neck.'
I guess this is how stereotypes start! We'll have to keep our jokes a little more appropriate!
All ramped up
Well, we are on our way home from the ramp festival in Mt Morris, PA at the mason dixon park. The ramp is a wild edible allium with blood cleansing properties. How can I sum it all up? Here are a few highlights:
Steam powered shotgun greeting us upon our entrance, classy
Chocolate covered ramps, what do you think?
Ramp burger, good
Live bluegrass music, pretty good
Deep fried ramps, better than last year but greasy
Home made Ramp wine, organ rupturing
Ramp kielbasa, pretty durn good
Ramp cheese, pungent
Alpacas, cute
Camo bush beer can train, awesome
Stomach lining, destroyed
How the car smells on the way home, bad
Moral of the story: brings some friends, perhaps a few brews, a sense of humor and some antacids.
Kettle corn.
When sophie woke up from her nap after the ramp festival she said one (maybe two) word. Popcorn.
It's actually kettle corn, but I am not going to argue semantics with her.

Serendipitous Evolution
She is drinking from a fountain on her own, I thought I would have to hold her, hunched over with an aching back forever! We went to story time this morning and were lucky enough to have the theme be 'knuffle bunny', her favorite. I checked out a bunch of anti pacifier and pro potty propaganda.
